01 Apr Laser Kiss Cutting, MP Made it Happen!
Kiss cutting is a die cutting process where adhesive-backed materials are cut through, but the laminated backing paper is not.
At MP Industries we are a solutions-oriented Company. We cater to customers no matter their size and take pride in being able to solve numerous issues in their design and production requirements.
Often it is difficult for many of our customers to get prototypes due to large MOQ’s that so many manufacturers require in their production runs. MP is there to support these prototype and small run needs.
Recently we were asked to make prototypes for a kiss cutting project. Michael, our VP, loves a challenge! Not having a kiss cutting die was not going to limit his ability to answer our customer’s request.
In understanding that the laser machine has unlimited cutting paths he successfully programmed it to be able to kiss cut to our customer’s specs with no additional tooling costs.
